Minu: Ai! Writing seductions and love scenes is definitely touchy, LOL. There are so many points at which you have to decide just how 'detailed' or graphic you want to get.
The only thing I've heard recommended on other sites is to read a lot of other people's romance novels to see how other writers do it.
Unfortunately there is some real trash out there. I read one FanFic yesterday where the writer obviously had no clue whatsoever of female anatomy. Yikes!
I think perhaps you just have to put yourself into each of the characters and try to figure out what you'd like to do to the other, or what attentions you'd like to have paid to yourself? But to get into the head of your rather uptight elf...that's going to be a stretch of imagination.
I get stuck on such points too... Anyone else have any good ideas?

damn you people did you have to make the personal references...now I have to put up a disclaimer saying: This story is purely fictional...the conduct of the characters is the doing of their own private will which by no means is relative to the author. But seriously guys thankies for the help.

ROFLOL. I didn't mean it THAT way! ;D I have never written a love scene or a seduction scene. Whenever I try, it comes off as what my mother used to refer to as a 'bodice ripper' -- the old fashioned term for romances, LOL. Ah, but I'll keep trying.
